Life is complicated. The 12V battery found in most motorcycles is easily recharged by frequent and long motorcycle rides. Click. Click. Click. I’ve never let a motorcycle battery die. It’s hot today and I’ve got 'All The Gear' on, sitting on 600 pounds of immovable parts.
Where did the time to ride go? It was just here. I have no idea.
Friday. 8am. Drive to NYC: 2.5 hours. A drop off in manhattan, look for parking: 1 hour. Dinosaurs and dead animals museum: 2 hours. Traffic to Brooklyn: 1.5 hours. Pickup in Manhattan: 1 hour. Driving 2 more hours, baby throws up. Lovely dinner with wife and 3 kids: 2 hours. 1.5 hours and I’m back home. Nightcap. Bed. Where did the time go?
Wake up Saturday, plug the bike in. The trickle charger will get her started again. 12 hours later she fires up. The brain needs time in it’s helmet. My battery is dead.
